The impressive setting of the Vienna International Centre (VIC) has been home to numerous international organizations since 23 August 1979.
You can book a guided tour with the Visitors’ Service of the United Nations Information Service (UNIS) Vienna to learn about the work of the United Nations and experience the Vienna International Centre's striking architecture and vibrant, cosmopolitan atmosphere of the VIC.
By signing up for a tour, you’ll have the chance to count the flags of the more than 190 Member States on the Memorial Plaza, see a variety of temporary exhibitions on the work of the United Nations and perhaps even see one of the impressive conference rooms.
United Nations souvenirs and stamps are also available for sale at the Visitors’ Centre in Gate 1. Come and visit us – the United Nations is easy to reach from the centre of Vienna.
Please remember to bring a valid identification document with your photograph on it.
Take the underground line U1 to the “Kaisermühlen/Vienna International Centre” stop and then follow the signs to Gate 1 of the VIC, which is the main entrance.
The VIC is also easy to reach by car via the A22 motorway or from the city centre via the Reichsbrücke. Buses may park in the side street off Wagramer Strasse. The VIC is accessible to people with disabilities.
